Wild Onion Brewery
In honor of its old ties to the city of Chicago, this brewery got its name from the wild onions that grew throughout the area’s wetlands. You can always count on a delicious lineup of craft beers year-round, plus an ever-changing rotation of seasonal favorites.
Biltmore Country Club
Home to Barrington’s only private beach, unsurpassed hospitality, and plenty of space to celebrate community events, the Biltmore Country Club is a landmark of the Lake Barrington area. Participate in some friendly competition on the club’s championship tennis courts or its widely-recognized golf greens—and if you work up an appetite, the Grill Room serves up mouth-watering steaks daily.
Freier Farm
In 2007, Lake Barrington acquired the 26-acre Freier Farm from longtime residents of the area. Ever since then, the village has been committed to preserving the historic qualities of the land, including some of the original farmland and farm buildings. Today, Freier Farm is the ultimate community hang spot, with a brick fire pit for s’mores in the summer and a steep hill for sledding in the winter.
