Spotlights of Lake Zurich

Sunset Pavilion

Refreshing drinks, unique eats, and panoramic sunset views are this restaurant's specialties. Located on Lake Zurich, Sunset Pavilion is the place to be on the weekends to listen to live music while the sun goes down. Here, you can sip on flights of craft beer, rosé wine in cans, and sweet sangrias on tap.

Tacos El Norte

Come savor mouthwatering Mexican cuisine for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Tacos El Norte. This authentic eatery likes to keep its dishes simple, using centuries-old family recipes and only the freshest ingredients in the kitchen—and just like its ingredients, this taco joint takes deliciously fresh fruit and makes festive margaritas for happy hour specials!

Oak Ridge Marsh Nature Park

Preserved by the Ancient Oaks Foundation, this suburban wetland is a prime spot for encountering wildlife and birdwatching. Some of its wildlife friends include blue herons, frogs, and turtles, all of which roam freely throughout the marsh area.

What You'll LOVE in Lake Zurich

An idyllic lakeside community, Lake Zurich could easily be mistaken as a spot straight out of the movies. Here are a few more things you can look forward to experiencing in this entertaining community!

Delectable dining

First things first, you have to snag a reservation at Beelow's Steakhouse, where you can revel in freshly caught seafood classics and filet mignon dishes adorned with delicious sides. Then, if you're looking for a casual spot to grab lunch, Ania's Polish Deli has all the cold cut meats and cheeses to make the sandwich of your dreams. And if you really want to dine like a Lake Zurich local, then you have to pick up a cup of joe and a tasty treat from Stompin' Grounds Cafe. This coffee shop is a community staple, where you'll surely find Lake Zurich residents enjoying some fresh ground coffee beans on any given morning.

Outdoor adventures

Open all summer long from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Paulus Park is a go-to spot for Lake Zurich residents to soak up the sun. Paulus Park is nestled against Lake Zurich and is accessorized with a sandy beach area, one that draws a crowd for dazzling sunset views. Want to go on a boating adventure? Bill's Boats Bait & Marina rents boats for both leisurely rides and fishing trips, plus the shop sells premium live bait for the best chances of reeling in a big one! And if fun on the fairways is more your style, Lake Zurich Golf Club has 18 holes of golf with your name written all over them.

Admirable public schools

Even if you don't have kids, investing in a home that's zoned to a highly rated school district can actually increase your property values over time. Luckily, Lake Zurich students are served by Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95. Located less than 40 miles northwest of Chicago, the relatively large district operates five elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. The district runs an ongoing fundraiser called "Joanie's Closet," which provides under-resourced students with clothing items, school supplies, and snack foods.
