Fourth of July Festivities

Summer is finally here and it’s time to celebrate! Today we are rounding up all of the local Fourth of July festivities because it’s the most exciting week of the summer. Plan ahead and tag us on social media if we gave you the idea to enjoy these activities!

Barrington:

It’s Brat Tent time, and this year, the annual festival is taking place from July 3-July 6. Celebrate with kids activities all day, Bingo, and live music all night! Don’t forget to stop by for the Military Tribute event on Saturday.

Fourth of July:

Good Shepard Family Fitness Run: 7:15am

Parade: 10am through downtown Barrington

Barrington’s White House Open House: 11am-1pm. Enjoy refreshments, a private tour, and a live Bluegrass band!

Fireworks: Dusk at Barrington High School

Palatine:

Another festival to celebrate the Fourth of July? You betcha! Head over to Recreation Park for family fun entertainment, food, a carnival, and craft fair!

Palatine Hometown Fest: July 3-7 at Community Park

Arlington Heights

Yet another festival so you can festival bounce all weekend! Head to Recreation Park for the annual Frontier Days from July 3-7. Look forward to tons of food vendors, a carnival, tournaments (volleyball, ultimate frisbee, chicken wing eating, and more!), wine tasting, exotic animals, and so much more!
